Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Marinate the shredded or diced chicken in soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat and cook the marinated chicken until fully cooked and slightly caramelized, about 6-8 minutes.
- Fry the Wonton Wrappers: While the chicken cooks, heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot. Fry the wonton wrappers in batches for 1-2 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Drain them on paper towels.
- Assemble the Tacos: Place the cooked chicken into the crispy wonton shells. Top with shredded cabbage or carrots, sliced green onions, fresh cilantro, and drizzle with sriracha or preferred sauce.
- Add Final Touches: Finish with a squeeze of fresh lime juice and optional toppings such as chopped peanuts or pickled veggies to enhance flavor and texture.
