Instructions
- Cook the Rotini: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a little pasta water to adjust the sauce consistency if needed.
- Brown the Ground Beef: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat to keep the dish light.
- Sauté the Garlic: Add butter to the skillet with the cooked beef, then stir in the minced garlic. Cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned, creating a flavorful base for the sauce.
- Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Gradually add the grated parmesan cheese, stirring constantly until melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to taste.
- Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked rotini to the skillet and toss thoroughly with the beef and garlic parmesan sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
- Serve Hot: Once the pasta is fully coated and warmed through, serve immediately to enjoy the comforting and flavorful dish.
